Dear Virginia,

I knew Jim over the last few yars and am saddened to hear he has passed away, and please accept my sincere condolences. Jim used to attend physics colloquium talks at Southern Miss when I worked there and he enjoyed an astronomy class I presented at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. I always enjoyed seeing him and conversing with him and hearing his stories. May God bless Jim and his family.

My dear brother Jim has passed now, and I have no doubts as to where his soul rests. Jim knew Jesus at an early age and joined the Baptist Church . He was a devoted son, and brother to his family. Jim grew up in Knoxville, Tenn, graduated from East High School, and graduated in Engineering and Physics from the University of Tennessee. He worked at the Atomic Plant in Piketon, Ohio, also working at Cape Canaveral, and Western Electric. Jim had many accomplishments in life, but his most important in life was that of being a righteous and good friend to all. God bless you Jim, we love you. Siss and family
