Obituary for Kasey Micah Mclain

Kasey Micah McLain was born on April 22, 1992, in Hattiesburg, MS, the third of three children, unto the union of the Late James “Jimmy” McLain & Laura Anderson McLain.

Kasey, the baby of the family, was well above his time with a very strong soul. Kasey began his Christian walk at an early age as he has always been loving, kind hearted, full of laughter, friendly, family oriented, thoughtful, helpful, truthful, brutally honest at times, caring and reliable intelligent young man. Kasey was the person you called for everything. He was your mechanic, IT/tech man, handy man, plumber, advice giver, supporter, and protector. Kasey enjoyed fishing, guns, knives; weapons in general, gun shows. He was extremely loved by family, friends, & everyone he met.

Kasey was a Hattiesburg High Class of 1992 graduate. He received his Associates of Arts degree from Pearl River Community College and his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from Mississippi State University. Kasey was a very hard worker with good work ethics who has worked many jobs as well as volunteered throughout high school and college. Kasey was currently employed at Howard Industries in Laurel, MS.

On Thursday Morning February 3, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital, Kasey moved from his earthly home to his heavenly home. Kasey will be embraced by plenty of family members who have preceded him in death: his father James “Jimmy” McLain, his great grandmothers and grandfathers; his grandfather’s Curtis Anderson and Jimmy McLain and grandmothers Mary Ellen Anderson and Inez McLain; four uncles: Calvin Anderson, Curtis Anderson, Jr., Jerimiah Anderson, and Hollis Barber; one aunt: Mary Alice (Anderson) Rankin and one great aunt Annie Varnado.
